Metal roofs (such as sandwich tiles or profiled sheets) are less traditional solutions and as they are a relatively recent technique, there is less information regarding their durability and degradation.  

There are several types of ceramic tile models, which have some characteristics in common, such as thermal and acoustic insulation and fire resistance.  In fact, the ceramic roof is a versatile solution for any home. 

Some of the advantages of ceramic tiles are their aesthetic effect, the different model options, from the ATLAS tile (Lusa type tile), MERIDIAN tile (Marseille type tile) or MOURISCA tile (straw type tile). 

Ceramic tiles provide thermal and acoustic comfort and are resistant. 

Ceramic tile is a highly durable solution that requires low maintenance. They have excellent fire resistance and control humidity in the home: Ceramic tiles are porous, which makes it easier for internal humidity to dissipate.  

It can be applied to any sloped roof, from moderately sloped roofs to steeper roofs.  In addition to all these advantages, ceramic tiles are more environmentally friendly than sandwich tiles! Ceramic tile is made from a natural material: clay.
